not too near coffee discussion, or dated posts

Vancouver, BC

We're headed up to Vancouver this weekend for a mini-break and the garage sale. Espresso map's looking a bit dated.

Other than the obvious (ely, ely2, 49th, wick'd, a couple artigianos and a jj), where should we be getting our coffee on?

Brunch spots will also be graciously accepted.

Maybe it's touristy, but I am jonesin a bit for a drink at the irish heather. PM me if'n you're interested in a late Fri or Sat imbibe.

Cheers,
Brett

The family's coming to V-town this weekend. Who has the coffee experiences to beat?

Also looking for a Saturday dinner spot. Mind you, we'll be aiming for gummers o'clock (5 sharp) so we can get the boys to bed at a reasonable hour in unfamiliar digs.

I'm curious about a Sunday breakfast spot, too, but I'm guessing if we don't roll out early the Mothers Day crowds are going to bury us. Or has Hallmark invaded to the north yet?

Robert- where can we meet to bury the demitasse-spoon over coffee? You fly, I'll buy.
